OART Reading privacy notice
We want families to know what happens when they send a reading-tutoring enquiry. The website is intended for parents and guardians, not for children to submit information.

Who handles website enquiries?
OART Reading is Linda Thomas's independent reading-tutoring service. At present, the OART website and incoming web enquiries are coordinated through AI Gadget Labs on Linda's behalf.
What details are collected?
When an adult submits the enquiry form, we receive their name, email address, optional phone number, chosen reading-help topic, optional message and agreement to be contacted. The hosting service may also collect standard connection records such as IP address and browser information, and use technical checks to prevent abusive form submissions.
How we use that information
We use parent-provided enquiry details to respond about reading help, discuss the potential next steps and prevent spam or misuse. Website enquiries are currently delivered to the AI Gadget Labs website coordinator, who can communicate with Linda as needed to respond. We do not sell enquiry details or use them for unrelated marketing.
Website and email providers
Hosting and email providers process information as required to operate the website and deliver messages. Enquiry emails and replies may remain in the website team's mailbox while the request is handled and for legitimate administrative needs. No fixed deletion period is promised here.
Children's information
Please share only general reading goals, not a child's full name, date of birth, school records, medical details, test results or other sensitive information. Parents and guardians should submit enquiries on a child's behalf.
Security and your questions
The website uses HTTPS for encrypted connections. No internet service can promise absolute security. To ask about a message you sent or request review or deletion of your enquiry, please use the parent enquiry form and choose “Other or unsure”. Include just enough information to identify your request. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate reasons.
Updates to this notice
If the website's enquiries, contact routing or information practices change, this notice will be updated so families can review the current approach.
